Understand the scope of the comparison
This PRAETIR-published overview uses the official TradesViz product page, checked on September 12, 2026. It does not replace testing with your broker and instruments. Mentioned features do not imply identical availability in every plan or market.
Distinguish options simulation from futures context
TradesViz describes trading simulation, an options simulator for multi-leg strategies and extensive analytics. PRAETIR Command provides futures charting with GEX context and ATAS connectivity. GEX context does not replace simulation of a multi-leg options position’s profit and loss.
Write down the exact data requirement
If options simulation is central, check expirations, strikes, leg counts, fee assumptions and historical coverage. If futures reviews are the priority, test month codes, tick values, accounts and the connection between chart evidence and trading decisions.
More analytics require clear questions
Choose three questions from your routine before testing: for example costs by setup, results before and after a rule change, and documenting a losing day. Check whether the answers are reproducible. The advertised chart count alone does not evaluate this workflow.
PRAETIR is in early access. Compare confirmed current functionality and a specific plan version before moving all data or workflows.
| Priority | Coverage to verify |
|---|---|
| Multi-leg options | Strategy construction, valuation and historical leg data |
| Futures review | Contract month, costs, tick value and accounts |
| GEX context | Market, data timestamp and available display |
| Simulation | Instrument, time resolution and execution assumptions |
