Sources and perspective
PRAETIR publishes this comparison using its own functionality and Tradervue’s official product page checked on September 12, 2026. Competitor information is not a set of independently measured test results. Plans, data coverage and import methods can change.
Compare reports around a real question
Tradervue describes reports by time of day and symbol, along with setup tags. It also advertises exit-performance analysis. PRAETIR connects executions, trading days, journal entries and plan review in its analytics environment.
For example, evaluate: What were the net results of compliant trades in my first setup? Check whether tags, cost basis and trade definitions select the same subset in each product. Otherwise two metrics with the same name can measure different things.
Exit analysis requires a defined data basis
When comparing the actual exit with a theoretically better one, establish the price source and observation window. A high after exit should not silently become an opportunity available during the trade. Check the treatment of partial exits too.
Evaluate a switch against data first
Before migrating, verify that dates, time zones, accounts, fees and notes arrive intact in the intended destination. General CSV support does not establish reliable handling of every third-party format. Keep the existing journal until the sample reconciles.
| Task | What to check in both products |
|---|---|
| Import | Partial fills, costs, time zone and account assignment |
| Setup report | Matching trade definitions and filters |
| Exit review | Price source, holding window and theoretical exit assumptions |
| Retrieve notes | Connection to the trade and trading day |
